A Message from Ayo Richardson, Principal

Dear Mustang Community,

It is with great joy and excitement that I welcome you to the start of the 2025–2026 school year at Mountain Park Elementary. As we begin this new chapter together, I am filled with anticipation for the learning, growth, and meaningful moments that lie ahead. Mountain Park is a special place—one grounded in strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared commitment to helping every child thrive. I am truly honored to serve alongside such an incredible community.

To our returning students, welcome back! Your resilience, curiosity, and dedication continue to make our school shine. This year, I encourage you to approach each day ready to spark joy—in your learning, in your friendships, and in the way you show up for one another. Embrace new challenges, explore your passions, and take pride in all that you accomplish.

To our new students and families, a very special welcome to Mountain Park Elementary. We are thrilled to have you join our community—you are now a Mustang! We cannot wait to get to know you and to see the unique strengths, talents, and joy you will bring to our school.

At Mountain Park Elementary, we believe education is a shared responsibility among students, families, staff, and our broader community. These values guide our actions and help us create a school community where everyone belongs and can succeed. I encourage our students to live out these values each day as they grow into confident, capable leaders.

Through collaboration, strong instruction, and continued reflection on best practices, we will meet the evolving needs of our learners and ensure every child has opportunities to shine.
